The Dominican is back! We’re thrilled to have you with us again.

Your health and well-being is our top priority and we’re making every effort to create the safest experience possible. Below we've summarized our COVID-19 health & safety plan, with all the key points and information you need for a sweet and safe stay. GOOD NEIGHBOR BEHAVIOR

  • * Let’s see those stylish masks! Facial covering is required in all public places of the hotel.
  • * We have redesigned our spaces to facilitate the mandatory 1.5m social distancing rule.
  • * Hand sanitizer will be readily available throughout the hotel, so keep those hands clean, kids!
  • * We are now cashless, accepting credit card payments only.
  • * Only ride the elevators with people you are rooming with and try elbowing those buttons!
  • * Until further notice, smoking is prohibited in the courtyard.
  • * If you feel something coming on, err on the side of caution. Are you not feeling 100%? Stay home! Get yourself checked out before you check in. And if you’ve already checked in and you are showing COVID-19 symptoms, please self-isolate and call us. We’ll get in touch with the appropriate health authorities to get you the care you need.


KEEPING IT SQUEAKY CLEAN

You’ll notice us often in high traffic zones, cleaning and sanitizing all high touch items that need a bit of love. Extra attention will be paid to contact surfaces such as our front desk, lifts, entrance doors, handrails, public bathrooms, restaurant, dining surfaces and seating areas.


CHECKING IN AND CHECKING OUT

We’ll make sure to keep it swift and smooth. And we’ll be giving you space, asking you to respect the social distancing rules and approach the front desk one person at a time.

Keys and information will be readily available upon arrival. All keys are manually sanitized before distribution.

Porterage service is temporarily unavailable.

Provide us with your e-mail and you’re invoice will be sent after check-out. Quick and easy!

When departing the hotel, drop your keys in one of our drop boxes.

Craving for a hug? You’ll have to excuse us when we politely decline. We have only your best interests in mind.


WHEN IN ROOM

Essentials only! We’re going back to basics, keeping everything you need and ditching everything you don’t.

We’ll ask you for your personal preferences regarding room cleaning. Rooms will only be serviced upon request. Rooms are only cleaned when you’re out of the room. Our rooms are thoroughly aired and sanitized between guests. Your personal items will not be touched or moved, we will wipe around them.

Our minibar is not stocked. Coffee, tea and complimentary water will be refilled if you have opted for housekeeping service.


FOOD & DRINKS

The Dominican ground floor welcomes you for food and drinks. We’ve got lots of new procedures in place to keep things safe. Don’t rush in. Always consult one of our staff members to be seated. Here’s how things have changed.

We have made some adjustments to the way we set and serve tables, organize seating, take orders and display menus.

Breakfast runs from 7am till 10am and is only available through reservation at check-in.

Due to a limited capacity, we firmly recommend to make reservations prior to arrival for lunch, dinner or drinks. So make sure to BOOK A TBALE through this website. You’re only a few clicks away!

Last dining orders are at 10pm, last drinks orders at midnight. And don’t forget, there’s always room service! We’ll be dropping the order outside your door in an effort to minimize people coming in and out of your room.


WORKOUT

Those abs will have to wait, our gym is closed for the moment. However, for you athletes out there, we have a solution: you can privatize our gym for a limited amount of time at an additional cost upon availability.


THE DOMINICAN TEAM

Our team members on the ground have been issued guidance and COVID-19 training. Everyone is expected to play by the rules.

Personal Protective Equipment is required and provided to our team for your safety and theirs. Our team members know how to proceed if they have been exposed to COVID-19.

Social distancing is implemented in all our back of house spaces.

RESERVATIONS

Life’s a bit up in the air at the moment, but we’re determined to make it more flexible than ever. Feeling unwell? Stuck at home? Rest easy. For the foreseeable, any flexible rate booked directly with us (hotel website, email or phone) remains cancelable free of charge until 2pm the day prior to arrival. Keep in mind, indirect bookings (travel agents, booking website) are solely amendable through these third parties.
