The Dominican's Artistry Experience
Design September - Imaginair
Art and Design at The Dominican for Design September 17-09.2025 - 30-10.2025
The Dominican Presents Design September in collaboration with Imaginair
IMAGINAIR Art/Space & Gallery at The Dominican
IMAGINAIR Art/Space & Gallery in Brussels, founded by multidisciplinary artist Katrien Vanderbiest and artist/designer Geoffrey Lambert, specialises in collectible design, contemporary art, and photography. The gallery collaborates with a core collective of designers, alongside a curated selection of rotating artists and photographers.
With an artist-led approach, IMAGINAIR creates exhibitions where contemporary works are brought together in unique scenographies, offering visitors a fresh perspective on art and design.
For Design September, IMAGINAIR has been invited by The Dominican to bring this vision into the hotel’s historic public spaces. The resulting installation blurs the line between art and design, with a scenography inspired by the neighbouring opera house: at once classic and contemporary, baroque yet subtle.
Featured designers and collective: Château Resort, Debora Vancayzeele, ECHOES, Geoffrey Lambert & Katrien Vanderbiest, Onas Uytdewilligen, Oskar De Roover, Tine Loncin, Veerle Verschooren
Featured artists: Jaïr Marc Castillo, Monica Piloni, Ruben Boeren, Théodora Chiou
During Design September., these same designers and artists will also be showcased in a completely different setting at the gallery in Ixelles, highlighting the versatility and creativity of their work.
Visit The Dominican this September and experience the inspiring dialogue between art, design, and the city’s historic architecture.
